Ibaba and M&L live under the same sun—the one that warms bodies and hearts, insists on siestas at noon, and gets everyone dancing at dusk. The designer friends wanted to pay tribute to the air of leisurely ease that heat brings with this hand-embroidered design, crafted in a limited series by Ibaba in Rwanda, and sold exclusively at M&L.

Made of cotton, our jackets are embroidered and handmade in Rwanda. Called "Granny embroidery", this technique uses needle painting. It carries within it the personality and emotions of embroiderers. The impeccable cut of these exceptional pieces was designed by a Haute Couture designer.

Our jackets are packed in a black cotton canvas bag signed M&L, a "gift box" for an exceptional creation. Our cotton thread embroideries can be washed by hand "gently" in water.
