Macon&Lesquoy x La Comédie Française
Size: about 4,4x5,6cm
Motivated by an irrepressible desire to celebrate sportsmanship, the Comédie-Française is supporting France's Olympic year with a program that gives pride of place to effort and endurance, the ultimate symbols of performance on a theater stage or competition field.
In a nod to this programming, and as part of a long-standing partnership with the Comédie-Française, Macon&Lesquoy have imagined a Molière in full sprint to complete the collection already on offer.
Marie Macon and Anne-Laure Lesquoy, creators of the eponymous brand, have been offering hand-embroidered cannetille jewelry since 2009. This ancestral know-how brings embroidery back to the forefront of everyday life!
Manufacture
The embroideries of our brooches are created and designed especially by M&L designers. They are entirely handmade, in cannetille thread, according to a very old Indo-Pakistani technique. That's why in 2009, we recruited our embroiderers in Pakistan where we built our craft workshop.

Instructions for use / Cleaning
Our brooches are fragile. Avoid rubbing and water! So as to keep them longer, put them back in their pretty little cardboard box after use.
