Macon&Lesquoy x Le Bleuet de France
Size: about 3,6x3,8cm
M&L and Le Bleuet de France have a long history together.
First, a village memory for Marie Macon, whose family proudly displayed their cornflower on commemoration days. The memory, ultimately joyful, of marching bands and majorettes, of the epic and moving tales of veterans.
Today, with the support of Le Bleuet de France, more than 25,000 people are rebuilding their lives: wounded servicemen, bereaved families, wards of the Nation and victims of terrorism.
Macon&Lesquoy uses its own weapons: needles, thread and a technique that was originally used mainly to make military decorations. Macon&Lesquoy is proud to embroider this symbol, which has been handed down from generation to generation.
M&L is committed to donating €1 from every sale of this Cornflower.
Manufacture
The embroideries of our brooches are created and designed especially by M&L designers. They are entirely handmade, in cannetille thread, according to a very old Indo-Pakistani technique. That's why in 2009, we recruited our embroiderers in Pakistan where we built our craft workshop.

Instructions for use / Cleaning
Our brooches are fragile. Avoid rubbing and water! So as to keep them longer, put them back in their pretty little cardboard box after use.
