The Mermaid was created for the restoration of the tomb of Georges Méliès in the Père Lachaise cemetery on the initiative of his great-great-granddaughter, Pauline Duclaud-Lacoste. She has enjoyed M&L's creations for many years, this collaboration has naturally come to the fore. The embroidery on our brooches is entirely hand made with bullion thread, as to an ancient Indo-Pakistani technique.

Know more about the manufacture

Our brooches are fragile. Avoid rubbing and water! So as to keep them longer, put them back in their pretty little cardboard box after use.

Our orders are prepared and shipped from Monday to Friday from Granville in Normandy.
